
MUFFLED VOICES CONFERENCE
BRAND & CONFERENCE IDENTITY
This project entailed creating a comprehensive branding and promotional system for the Muffled Voices Conference, inspired by a chosen talk from the 2019 AWP writing conference. From the ground up, the project involved designing graphics, crafting layouts, building mockups, and conducting extensive online research to identify relevant speakers, articles, and interviews.
The conference centered on the theme “Censorship of Free Speech in Society,” addressing the challenges of restricted freedoms in media and other various contexts. To reinforce this theme, the conference branding incorporated elements reminiscent of redacted documents, evoking a strong visual connection to the subject matter and creating a memorable aesthetic for the event.
